The Northern Lights don’t follow schedules — and we don’t wait around. When conditions look right, we head out on a private hunt, driving into the wilderness to wherever the skies are clearest.

With a campfire, warm drinks, and the Arctic night around us, every hunt becomes its own story — lights or no lights.

How It Works

At Your Lapland, we keep things simple and personal.

1. Choose your main activity — in this case, Chasing the Northern Lights.
2. Add anything else you’d like — extra activities, accommodation, upgrades, or special requests.
3. Submit your request.
4. We’ll get back to you to go over the details, answer questions, and tailor everything to your wishes.
5. When everything feels right, we confirm your booking and secure your date.

Important Information

Safety

• Always follow your guide — we move through dark, remote areas.
• We choose safe locations for viewing and campfires.
• The activity may involve short walks on snow or ice.

Clothing & Gear

• Dress warmly in layers (merino + ski/snowboard clothing works best).
• We provide warm drinks, snacks, and fire-making equipment.
• Winter overalls are available for rent — let us know in advance.

Requirements

• Suitable for most ages; children must be accompanied by an adult.
• This is a private activity — only you and your group.

Good to Bring

• Camera or phone
• Tripod (optional but helpful for photos)
• Extra batteries (cold drains them fast)

Weather & Cancellations

• Weather can shift quickly; we may adjust the timing or route for the best chance of clear skies.
• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before.
• Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
