Ride beyond the usual tracks and explore Lapland the way locals do. We take you onto our own forest trails — far from the crowds — where silence, deep snow, and untouched nature take over.
Off-trail snowmobiling brings you into remote forests and wide-open Arctic landscapes you simply can’t reach on your own. Along the way, we stop by a campfire to warm up, enjoy hot drinks and local snacks, and soak in the stillness of the North before heading out for more adventure.
What to Expect
Duration: 2–3 hours
- Introduction & safety briefing – Learn the basics of snowmobile driving before we hit the trails.
- Ride your own or relax as a passenger – Prefer not to drive? No problem. Ride with a local who knows a few tricks.
- Exclusive forest trails – No crowds, just quiet paths and untouched snowy landscapes.
- Campfire break – Warm up with hot drinks and snacks by the fire before continuing the adventure.
- Optional sleigh – Want an easier ride for kids or someone who prefers to sit back and enjoy the scenery?We can attach a sleigh behind the snowmobile — just let us know if you'd like to add it.

At Your Lapland, we keep things simple and personal.
- Choose your main activity — in this case, Off-Trail Snowmobiling.
- Add anything else you’d like — extra activities, accommodation, upgrades, or special requests.
- Submit your request.
- We’ll get back to you to go over the details, answer questions, and tailor everything to your wishes.
- When everything feels right, we confirm your booking and secure your date.
No crowds. No cookie-cutter tours. Just you, Lapland, and us making it happen.
Important Information
Safety
- Always follow your guide — snowmobiles are powerful machines.
- A full introduction is given before we hit the trails.
Clothing & Gear
- Dress warmly in layers (merino + ski/snowboard clothing works best).
- Winter overalls are available for rent — let us know in advance.
- Helmets are provided.
- Prefer not to drive? Ride as a passenger with your local guide.
Requirements
- Minimum age to drive: 18+
- Under 18s can join as passengers.
- This is a private activity — only you and your group.

Weather & Cancellations
- In extreme conditions, we may adjust the route or timing.
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before.
- Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
